D&D ShopGen V2

Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using D&D ShopGen V2.

Service and operator

D&D ShopGen V2 is an unofficial SRD-compatible shop inventory tool for tabletop roleplaying game preparation and play.

The service is operated by the D&D ShopGen project owner. For support, privacy requests, data deletion, or legal notices, contact support@dndshopgen.com.

Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable as the product evolves.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service on your own. The service is not directed to children under 13.

If you are under 13, do not create an account, publish Library content, submit support messages, use AI features, or provide personal data through the service.

If you use the service for a group, table, event, or organization, you are responsible for making sure you have permission to create and share the related content.

Accounts and content

You can use basic generation without an account. Google sign-in enables private cloud saves, account-owned custom items, public and live player links, Library actions, Patreon-connected benefits, and credit-gated AI features when available.

You are responsible for access to your Google account and for the shop content, custom items, notes, public links, Library entries, support messages, and AI prompts you create or submit.

Do not store sensitive personal data, illegal content, or content you do not have permission to use.

User content license

You keep ownership of the custom items, notes, shop names, saved shops, and other content you create.

You grant the D&D ShopGen project owner a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and the features you choose to use.

Public player links are created only when a signed-in DM publishes a cloud save. Anyone with the link may view the player-safe projection until the link is revoked.

If you publish content to the Community Library, you allow D&D ShopGen to display that public entry and allow other users to copy or import it as an independent item or shop snapshot.

Community Library

Community Library entries are public app content. Published items and shops may be browsed, previewed, liked, reported, copied, or imported by other users depending on their account state and available features.

Published shops are intended to use player-safe snapshots, but you remain responsible for reviewing content before publishing and for avoiding private notes, personal data, or content you do not have permission to share.

Unpublishing removes the original public entry from normal Library browsing, but it does not delete independent copies that other users already created from it.

The project owner may moderate, hide, remove, label, restrict, or reject Library content and account access when needed to protect users, legal rights, the service, or infrastructure.

Reports, moderation questions, and appeal requests can be sent through in-app reporting where available or to support@dndshopgen.com. Include enough detail to identify the content and explain the issue.

IP takedown and illegal content reports

If you believe Library content infringes your rights, includes illegal content, exposes private information, or violates these terms, report it in the app where available or contact support@dndshopgen.com.

A useful report should identify the content, explain the claimed issue, provide contact information, and include any ownership or authorization details needed to review the report.

The project owner may remove or restrict content while a report is reviewed and may restore, keep restricted, or permanently remove content after review.

Accounts that repeatedly publish infringing, illegal, abusive, private, or otherwise policy-violating content may lose Library publishing access or service access.

AI features

AI shop planning and item-art features are optional account features that may require credits, entitlement, rate-limit capacity, and provider availability.

When you use AI features, your prompt, selected options, generated response, image request, and related metadata may be processed by D&D ShopGen infrastructure and third-party AI providers to produce the requested output and account for credit usage.

Do not submit passwords, payment data, private addresses, confidential campaign notes, or other sensitive personal data to AI fields.

Third-party AI provider handling, retention, and training rules depend on the provider terms and account settings in effect when the feature is used.

AI outputs are generated game aids. You are responsible for reviewing them, deciding whether they fit your table, checking for errors or unsafe content, and ensuring you have the rights needed for any external use.

Do not use AI features to generate unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, private, or harmful content, or to bypass these terms or another service's rules.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe intellectual property rights, harass others, distribute malware, attack or overload the service, bypass security controls, scrape abusively, or interfere with other users.

Do not publish or share content that includes private personal data, non-consensual personal information, impersonation, spam, malicious links, sexually exploitative material, or instructions for real-world wrongdoing.

Account restrictions and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete content through available controls or request deletion where applicable.

The project owner may remove content, revoke public links, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when necessary to protect the service, users, legal rights, or infrastructure; respond to reports; enforce these terms; or comply with legal obligations.

If you believe a moderation or account action was made in error, contact support@dndshopgen.com with the account, content, and action involved. Review may be limited when action is required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or privacy protection.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

Generated prices, inventories, AI text, and item-art outputs are game aids. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before using them at your table or in another product.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the D&D ShopGen project owner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, lost goodwill, service interruption, or errors in generated content.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it and delete or request deletion of your account data where applicable.

Payments, refunds, and app benefits

Optional paid memberships are managed by Patreon. Patreon controls checkout, recurring membership billing, cancellation, tax handling, receipts, and refund tooling for those memberships.

D&D ShopGen does not directly collect or store payment card details for Patreon memberships.

D&D ShopGen may use your connected Patreon membership to provide app-level benefits such as monthly AI credits and feature access. Feature availability depends on the mapped tier, successful Patreon sync, service configuration, and operational limits.

AI credits are an in-app allowance for supported AI features. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and may reset or expire according to the displayed monthly period.

Cancel membership, manage payment details, and request refunds for Patreon charges through Patreon and the Patreon membership flow. Refund availability depends on Patreon policies, creator settings, payment type, timing, and applicable law.

Cancellation or failed Patreon sync may end or reduce future app benefits, but it does not automatically remove independent account content already created in D&D ShopGen.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit non-waivable consumer rights that apply to you.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The Last updated date on this page shows when the current text was published.

Continuing to use the service after updated terms are published means you accept the updated terms.
